The tragicomic masterpiece of Richard Strauss is on stage again after four decades at the Budapest Opera. Directed by Ferenc Anger, conducted by Domonkos Héja, the production will come alive with a fantastic international cast: Viktoria Vizin, Tünde Szabóki, Rita Rácz and Thomas Piffka.
The first television commercial in the history of the 128-year-old Opera debuted on 9 April. The programme of the next season at the Opera and the Erkel Theatre was announced at the press conference and film première.
