The german bass-baritone Thomas Gazheli is a regular guest at the international opera and concert stages.At the beginning of the season 2012/2013 he gave his successful debuts at the Opera de Montreal/Kanada as Flying Dutchman as well at South Tyrol Festival as Gusmano (Alzira by Verdi). 2012/2013 includes furthemore Flying Dutchman at NCPA Beijing, Nabucco and Rigoletto at the new Opera house of Tyrolean Festival Erl,Flying Dutchman at Nationalopera Athen (Greece), Don Pizarro at Opera Liege (Belgium) and several concerts. Career highlights have included a very acclaimed debut as Alberich (Das Rheingold) at Oper Leipzig and at the International Festival de Santander (Spain), as well at Oper Essen, The Flying Dutchman at NCPA Beijing, Don Pizarro at Teatro Reggio di Torino, Telramund at Teatro Massimo Palermo, Wanderer (Siegfried) ,Alberich (Das Rheingold) and Gunther at Teatro Petruzzelli Bari, Jochanaan at Teatro Verdi Trieste , Ebn-Chakia at Theater an der Wien, the 4 Villains (Les Contes d´Hoffman) at Oper Essen and Volksoper Wien, Gunther at Oper Essen, Amfortas, Wanderer and all three Alberichs with Mo.Gustav Kuhn in Erl, Barbiere di Siviglia,Papageno and Lescaut (Boulevard Solitude) in Theater Basel, Lescaut at Opera Frankfurt ,Papageno at Teatro alla Scala Milano and in Rom, Guntram at Teatro Bellini Catania, Ford at Oper Bonn, Don Giovanni, Kunrad (Feuersnot by R.Strauss) and Friedrich (Liebesverbot by R.Wagner) at Prinzregententheater Munich, Monterone at Bavarian State Opera and Oper Frankfurt, Kaspar,Gianni Schicchi at Gärtnerplatz Theater Munich, Escamillo at Großes Festspielhaus Salzburg. Thomas Gazheli is also known as concert singer with a broad concert repertoire - he sang at the Philharmonie Berlin, Musikvereinssaal Vienna, Philharmonie Köln, Musikhalle Hamburg, Brucknerhaus Linz, Liederhalle Stuttgart, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Philharmonie Munich, Herkulessaal and was invited for several seasons to performe with Haydn Orchestra Bolzano.
