In the 21 February 2021 programme of Masquerade, soprano Adrienn Miksch and tenor István Horváth presented their favourite excerpts from German, French and Russian operas. The performance was streamed from 8:00 p.m. on Facebook and Origo.hu.

Adrienn Miksch graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music gaining the title "Master of Music in Singing and Teaching". Afterwards, she was admitted to the Opera Studio of the Hungarian State Opera immediately, and made her debut at the Opera in 2005. The young dramatic soprano singer was awarded the prizes of several international competitions including the world famous international competition, the 4th Monte Carlo Voice Masters in 2008. She is well-known on international stages in Tokyo, Toronto, Nice, Monte Carlo, Milan, Verona, Mantua, Ragusa, Naples, Moscow, Barcelona, Hanover, and she has appeared at the Carnegie Hall, New York numerous times. Her repertoire ranges from operas by Mozart to contemporary compositions. She was awarded a Mihály Székely Commemorative Plaque in 2020.

István Horváth earned his diploma in voice at the University of Pécs in a course taught by Márta Bukszár. Meanwhile, his career as an opera singer was launched with the opera company of the National Theatre of Pécs, and he later made his debuts in Miskolc, Szeged and Budapest and has been a soloist of the Hungarian State Opera since 2010. In the past decade, he has built up a repertoire from Mozart to R. Strauss, and he also appeared in 20th-century and contemporary pieces. He has taken part in the Opera's international tours in Japan and New York. He frequently appears in oratorios and concerts as well. His achievements have been awarded with a Juventus Prize and a József Simándy Commemorative Plaque.
