He was born in Budapest in 1975. After his organ studies in Bartók Béla Secondary School of Music, he continued his studies at the Teacher-Training College of Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, studying singing-music teaching and choir conducting. He graduated as an opera singer at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 2008, where he studied with Sándor Sólyom-Nagy, Imola Pogány and Balázs Kovalik. He has participated in master courses of Éva Marton, Renato Bruson, Evgeny Nesterenko and Wicus Slabbert. He has been a scholarship-holder in the Hungarian State Opera House since September 2008, where he made his debut - still as a university student - in the role of Orest's tutor in Elektra in 2007. Besides several minor roles he also sings Béni's role in the new production of Ránki's The King's New Clothes.
