Verdi bicentennial premiere at the Hungarian State Opera next Monday: STIFFELIO for the first time in Budapest! The production will be staged as a concert performance, conducted by Domonkos Héja.
Dear audience, it has been a tradition of 130 years at the Hungarian State Opera that at the end of the first act of Parsifal applause is not recommended. We kindly ask you to keep that noble tradition alive by not applauding after the first act. Thank you for your understanding.
