Graduated in Performing Arts at Fondazione Civica di Milano “Scuola Paolo Grassi”, Mattia Agatiello put his focus on choreography, presenting his works in important festivals. He worked and danced with the choreographers Lucinda Childs, Matanicola, Maria Consagra, Maya Matilda Carroll and he has been the personal assistant of the choreographers Emanuela Tagliavia, Davide Montagna and Virgilio Sieni.
In 2009 he co-founded the contemporary dance company Fattoria Vittadini and during the years he worked on the choreography of La lotta di Ercole con Acheloo and Armida thanks to which the company received the Special Prize Franco Abbiati. He choreographed also Le Braci (Opera di Firenze), Orlando finto pazzo (Korean National Opera), Rigoletto and Guglielmo Tell (Theater Kiel), Orlando Furioso (Festival della Valle d’Itria) and La clemenza di Tito (Opera de Lausanne).
