Carmina Burana – tour

The theatrical variant of Orff’s magical cantata debuted in 2018 in front of Erkel Theatre’s enormous, packed auditorium. Performing the piece outdoors does not provide a possibility for using the numerous projectors or moving the scenery and props otherwise suspended from the fly system, and so we are left with just the elemental music itself. But we will be making the most of the magical summer nights, which are at least equal to the theatrical milieu, ensuring that the concert performance is capable of providing the same experience. The Opera is taking this version to Pécs, Berehove, and Veszprém in the summer of 2021.
