Song recital by Olga Peretyatko

Her quiet passages are breathtaking and her coloratura take you through the highest voice with a beguiling freshness,” wrote the Süddeutsche Zeitung about the Saint-Petersburg-born soprano, Olga Peretyatko. After her performances in the great opera houses of Europe and America covering a range of soprano operatic roles, Ms Peretyatko is finally coming to Budapest with a special recital of arias and songs. This varied selection from her repertoire will take the audience of the Erkel Theatre on a journey to France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, and America with pieces by Gounod, Rossini, de Falla, Cláudio Santoro and Gershwin—and music from many other cultures. Ms Peretyatko is accompanied by the German pianist Matthias Samuil, who will also play some Chopin pieces—so Poland will also be a part of this virtual tour in the world of music.
