Opera and theatre are practical art forms, which is why we aim to break away from traditional museum conventions when designing the future museum. Our goal is to create an interactive, informative exhibition with strong visual impact, making full use of the space’s architectural possibilities and 21stcentury technologies – just as we did with the exhibition at the Eiffel Art Studios. Naturally, live music will also be an integral part of this interactivity. The stage, named after a legendary director, may only accommodate a string quartet comfortably within the permanent exhibition space, yet thanks to the available Bogányi piano and the restored seating blocks salvaged from the Opera House pre-reconstruction, it provides a unique and intimate setting for highly impactful song recitals, chamber performances, and historical presentations
