The guided tour named after János Feketeházy begins at the visitor centre also bearing the name of the original designer of the Eiffel Hall. The visitor level, created by his modern successor Miklós Marosi, features corridors, walkways, suspended passages, and bridges that guide guests along an almost 1,000-meter path, forming a grand figure-eight inside the Eiffel Hall. Illuminated display cases, foam board panels, a timeline, and digital installations bring the world of the Railway Works to life from a century ago and the OPERA’s history since 1884. Visitors can peek into every room and observe the work in each workshop from an upper vantage point without disrupting operations – all within an accessible environment. The visit begins with a short film, providing an overview of the building’s history and setting the stage for the tour’s immersive experience.

Please note that guided tours are currently offered in Hungarian only.

The 60-minute tour includes the screening of a short documentary of the Eiffel Art Studios, plus a display by the Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport as well as the new permanent exhibition of the OPERA entitled Studios. Secrets.
