Born in Oradea, Kinga Kriszta graduated from the University of Debrecen as a student of Éva Mohos-Nagy. She initially sang in the choir of the Csokonai Theater in Debrecen, then made her debut as a soloist there a few years later.

Since 2010, she has been a soloist at the Hungarian State Opera, where she initially sang lyric soprano roles (Mária Gara, Gilda, Pamina), then moved on to more demanding spinto roles (Liú, Cio-Cio-San, Erzsébet Valois).

In 2025/2026, she received the Hungarian State Opera House's most prestigious award, the title of Chamber Singer.

She is a regular performer at Hungarian classical music festivals.

Kinga Kriszta
