Ármin Szabó-Székely

Ármin Szabó-Székely graduated from the University of Theatre and Film in Budapest in 2012. He completed internships at the Volksbühne Berlin and with Constanza Macras and her company Dorky Park. As a freelance dramaturge in the field of theatre and contemporary dance he has worked at Schauspielhaus Graz, Theater Bremen, Landestheater Niederösterreich, Torino State Theatre, Helsinki City Theatre, Kaunas State Theatre, Katona József Theatre, Örkény Theatre and various other independent productions. In 2021 he received his PhD from the University of Theatre and Film in Budapest, where he worked for several years as a lecturer. Since 2023 he has been a member of the ensemble of the Katona József Theatre in Budapest. He has been teaching at the University of Pécs since September 2024.
