Balázs Csémy was born in 1985 and obtained his degree in drama from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in 2009 after pursuing his film studies in Canada in 2003 and 2004. He also studied at the New Theatre's studio and between 2014 and 2015 was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. At the 2010 Vidor Festival he won the Pantalone Award, and was recognised with the Imre Soós Award in 2012. Since 2009 he has been a member of Kecskemét's Katona József Theatre.
