In the November edition of Stars' Recitals with Piano, baritone Ludovic Tézier will take the stage. The artist has sung nearly all of the greatest baritone roles in the operatic repertoire: he has portrayed Iago, Scarpia, Onegin, Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, Simon Boccanegra, the Count in Le nozze di Figaro, Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff, Yeletsky in The Queen of Spades, Germont, Wolfram, Marquis Posa, and Amfortas. He has performed at such renowned opera houses as the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera, the Paris National Opera, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, La Scala in Milan, the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, London’s Covent Garden, and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. He is also a regular guest at numerous festivals, including Salzburg, Bregenz, and Glyndebourne. For his late-autumn performance in Budapest, he will offer the audience of the Opera House a special selection of arias and songs.
