In the 4 October 2020 episode of Masquerade, viewers could see the Chamber Singer of the 2018/19 season, Csaba Szegedi on the virtual platform of the Opera.

For more than a decade, Csaba Szegedi has been one of the Opera's most-engaged lyric baritones. It was still during his scholarship season with the institute that he already sang the title role of Il barbiere di Siviglia followed by other significant title roles such as Eugene Onegin, Don Giovanni and János Háry. Since 2014, he has been a recurring guest on international stages as well. In his Masquerade recital he mainly revisited his Italian repertoire, from Donizetti to Leoncavallo, but for an aria he also showed his talent in the Russian opera literature. One of his guests in the programme was Chamber Singer László Szvétek, the surprise guest, Kolos Kováts celebrated a special jubilee, which was also commemorated during the evening.
