On 14 November 2020, tenor Gergely Boncsér, Chamber Singer for the 2019/20 season presented his favourite arias and songs in the Masquerade series. The performance could be viewed from 8:00 p.m. on Facebook and Origo.hu.

After graduating from high school, the Miskolc-born Gergely Boncsér began his career as a member of the chorus of the National Theatre of Miskolc simultaneously with commencing his vocal studies. He made his debut in 2008 with Interoperett, which gave him his first opportunity to sing for an opera audience. In that same year, he won the Hungarian State Opera's scholarship. Since then, he has built up an extensive repertoire including operas by Mozart, Verdi and Puccini as well as Wagner and R. Strauss. He is also renowned for his performances in operettas and contemporary works. He is a winner of several singing competitions, the Opera named him Chamber Singer for the 2019/20 season. In his recital, he sang pieces by Italian, French and Russian composers. One of his guests was Kossuth Award recipient Chamber Singer Mihály Kálmándy, the surprise guest was Eszter Zemlényi, a young soprano.
