On February 2021, two young opera singers, Zsófia Nagy and Ninh Duc Hoang Long made a selection of their favourite arias. Viewers of the programme could enjoy excerpts by Mozart, Donizetti, Puccini, Massenet and Verdi from 8:00 p.m. on Facebook and Origo.hu.
Soprano Zsófia Nagy was 11 when she started singing in the Hungarian State Opera Children's Chorus, thus gaining familiarity with the genre from an early age. It was then that her passion for opera began, and the point when she embarked on a musical career. She earned her master's degree in operatic voice and voice pedagogy at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in 2017. At the Opera, she has appeared in Hänsel und Gretel, Carmen and Die Zauberflöte, and she took part in the 2018 Transylvanian tour of L'elisir d'amore. She also appeared in premieres of contemporary operas Fantasio / Fortunio in Italy.
Vietnamese-born tenor Ninh Duc Hoang Long is a winner of several contests, including the 2016 and 2018 József Simándy International Singing Comptetition and the 2019 Ferenc Lehár International Operetta Competition. The singer is now a Hungarian citizen and also speaks the language fluently, thus he was able to sing the role of Nemorino in the 2019 Transylvanian tour of L'elisir d'amore partnering Erika Miklósa. He obtained his master's degree in opera in 2020.
