The tours including a small concert with the participation of young opera singers on the landing of the grand staircase. Besides enjoying the little costumed opera scenes directed by András Almási-Tóth, curious visitors will be shown the most beautiful sides of the Opera House. Although reservations can be made for OperaTour visits, risk-takers and spur-of-the-moment type people can also try to join a group at the meeting point in the Opera House entrance hall. Tours are held in a variety of languages and leave at different time slots during the day.

Groups are limited to maximum 30 visitors. The tour starts in the entrance hall at the information desk.
Tours include a short concert at the end featuring the soloists of the OPERA. Photography for non-commercial purposes is allowed (flash photography and tripods are not permitted).
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. In case a guided tour takes place at such a time, the route takes visitors to special, hitherto unseen areas. Guided tours are not available during performances.

We can only accept booking requests at least one week before the chosen date.
Foreign language private tours: 6 300 HUF / person (with concert at the time of guaranteed tours), 4 600 HUF / person (without concert)
Hungarian language private tours: 4 000 HUF / person (with concert at the time of guaranteed tours) 3 500 HUF / person (without concert)
