Nóra Bujdosó graduated from Nyíregyháza's High School of Fine Arts in 1999, after studying visual design and film and theatre set and costume design under the guidance of Ágnes Gyarmathy. She then earned a degree in visual design at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2007, where her thesis project won the visual design award from the Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists. (The department was headed by Judit Csanád, and her thesis advisers were set designer Zsolt Khell and costume designer Edit Szűcs.) On a professional scholarship to Milan's Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, she did the designs for Boito's opera Mefistofele under the guidance of Italian director Mariani Gastone. She was employed as a visual designer at Hungarian Television from 2007 to 2009, when she left for Rome to spent three months at the Hungarian Academy there on a professional scholarship from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. Between 2010 and 2013, again in Rome, she completed the Accademia di Belle Arti's specialisation course under the tutelage of Paolo Ferruzzi and Francesco Zito. In 2013 she won the “costume designer of the year” award from the Hungarian Association of Visual Designers. She has taken part in a number of exhibitions, including in Prague, Rome, Budapest and Pécs.
