Gabriella Busa was born in the town of Gyomaendrőd and commenced her music studies at the Voice and Music Primary School in Csongrád, where she learned to play flute and piano. She then went on to graduate from Békéscsaba's Béla Bartók High School of Music with a specialisation in solo voice and earn her degree, after studying with Andrea Ujvárosi, from the University of Debrecen's Faculty of Music, where she also subsequently did her master's work under the guidance of Éva Mohos Nagy. Having participated in master classes with Adrienne Csengery and Dénes Gulyás, she is currently working with Bernadett Wiedemann as her vocal coach. Between 2003 and 2012, she was a member of the chorus at Debrecen's Csokonai Theatre, where she later also sang solo roles. She has been a member of the Hungarian State Opera Chorus since 2012, where she also sings solo parts in addition to her duties with the chorus. In addition to the Opera, she also regularly appears at the Miskolc Bartók+ Opera Festival and the Csokonai Theatre, among other venues. She has collaborated as a soloist with such conductors as Tamás Vásáry, Tamás Pál, Gergely Kesselyák and Balázs Kocsár, and with directors like Nadine Duffaut, Ferenc Anger, Attila Vidnyánszky, Miklós Gábor Kerényi, Tamás Ferkay and András Fehér.
