Born in the Vojvodinian community of Bácskossuthfalva (Stara Moravica) in 1985, Renáta Horák graduated from the Universuty of Szeged’s Facuulty of Music in 2010 with degrees in voice and voice pedagogy after studying under the guidance of István Andrejcsik. She has participated in master classes held by Éva Marton, Mária Temesi, Sylvia Sass and Ionel Panthel. After completing her studies, she signed with National Theatre of Szeged. Her principal roles include Tatiana (Onegin), Clorinda (La Cenerentola), Valencienne (The Merry Widow), Adina (L'elisir d'amore), Ines (Il trovatore). In 2008, she took second place at the International József Simándy Singing Competition.
