Professional career:
Conductor of the Budapest Technical University Symphony Orchestra from 2003-2014. Appeared with the orchestra in France, Italy and Transylvania, in addition to its Budapest concerts. Worked as guest conductor for the Magyar Telekom Symphony Orchestra, the MÁV Symphony Orchestra, the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, the Szabolcs Symphony Orchestra, and the Oradea (Nagyvarád) Philharmonic Orchestra. In additions to his engagements at the Opera House, he has served as music director and conductor of numerous musical theatre productions. The Opera has also made use of his skills as a composer: the repertoire versions of I pazzi per progetto, Il campanello, Don Pasquale (Opera on Wheels), Figaro 2.0 (Opera on Wheels) and Little Magic Flute were all arranged and/or transcribed by Géza Köteles.
