Born in Budapest in 1971, Lídia Nádori has been publishing her translations since 2000, principally in the area of contemporary German prose and children's literature. She has created the Hungarian versions of works by writers like Terézia Mora, Ingo Schulze, Herta Müller and Otfried Preußler. She has led numerous literary translation seminars in both Hungary and Germany. Her work has been recognised with the awards of the Marion Gräfin Dönhoff Foundation.
