Natalia Pocitari was born in 1962 in Chisinau, Moldova. In 1986, she graduated the Moldovan State Conservatory as a cimbalom performer, teacher, and folk-music orchestra conductor. Over the years, she has been a member and soloist of various national orchestras like Crăițele and Perpetuum Mobile. She has had numerous concerts in Romania, Austria, Czechia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. Her repertoire includes a variety of different styles, from traditional folk music of different countries to classical music masterpieces. Along her performing career, she has been a passionate professor of cimbalom, music theory, and conducting.
