Vivienne Ortan was born on April 24, 1998, in Budapest. She graduated from the Kodály Zoltán Primary School, High School, Vocational School, and Elementary Art School in Kecskemét. She was a member of the school’s two renowned choirs, the Miraculum Children's Choir and the Aurin Girls' Choir, where she became a soloist. She played the piano for fourteen years. She always valued the cultivation of the Hungarian language as well, her greatest pride is the Dudás Kálmán Prize, which she won in 2014 at a poetry and prose recitation competition.

She performed in the Kecskemét József Katona National Theater's production of János Vitéz during the 2016/2017 season and in the operetta The Csárdás Princess during the 2017/2018 season.

In 2018, she was admitted to the BA program in Classical Singing at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. She participated in numerous events organized by the Academy, including Talent Day, the Erzsébet Szőnyi Memorial Evening, the December Kodály Zoltán 139 concert (broadcast by Bartók Radio), the St. Bridget's Day Irish Sister Concert, and the Liszt Academy's Liszt Kids concert led by Dániel Mona.

In 2022, she had the opportunity to perform the second soprano role in Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor, accompanied by the Budapest Bach Choir and the Hungarian Chamber Orchestra, conducted by István Ella. In the spring of the same year, she received the Fischer Annie Music Performing Arts Scholarship.

In the summer of 2022, she sang the role of La Soura Zelatrice in Giacomo Puccini's Suor Angelica. In September 2022, she attended Anatoli Goussev's vocal masterclass. She also participated in Andrea Rost’s first PályaStart masterclass, where she performed the role of Cherubino from Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro at the closing concert. She performed alongside Rost in her concert in Tatabánya with the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by István Silló. In a production organized by Co-Opera, she played the role of Iluska in a cross-section of Pongrác Kacsóh’s operetta János Vitéz.

Her repertoire also includes the roles of Dido from Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and the Second Lady from Mozart's The Magic Flute. She sang on the stage of the Erkel Theater for the first time during the Szinetár 90 concert, organized by the Hungarian State Opera. At the Léman Bouquet Festival, she performed the role of Elena in Rossini's La donna del lago.

She was the winner of the III category in the 2018 VII National Singing Competition for Vocational High Schools. She won third place in her category at the XII International József Simándy Singing Competition. She was a semifinalist in the 6th Éva Marton International Singing Competition.

In 2023, she graduated with honors from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music with a master’s degree in oratorio and song performance. After that, she studied for a year in the MA Opera Singing program under the mentorship of Katalin Halmai and Gábor Alszászy. She is currently a member of the Éva Marton International Opera Studio.
