Rubén Fernández Aguirre Born in Bilbao. Disciple of Félix Lavilla, he specialised in accompanying singers in Vienna and Munich and received advice from Wolfram Rieger.

She also offers recitals with Sonya Yoncheva, Carlos Chausson, Mariella Devia, José Bros, Measha Brüggergosman, Andreas Schager, Martina Serafin, Celso Albelo, Cristina Gallardo-Domâs, Sylvia Schwarz, Chistopher Robertson, Ainhoa Arteta, Martin Nusspaumer, María Bayo, María José Montiel, Hera Hyesang Park, Maite Beaumont, David Menéndez, Isabel Rey, Gabriel Bermúdez, Ángeles Blancas, Pancho Corujo, Leontina Vaduva or Jihoon Son among many others. He accompanies in courses and master classes with T. Berganza, R. Scotto, J. Aragall, I. Cotrubas, R. Vargas and F. von Stade. He has been official pianist of "Operalia" (presided by Plácido Domingo) and jury member of the International Singing Competitions of Bilbao, Logroño and Bogotá. Defender of Musical Heritage, he recovers the five salon operas by Manuel García and his discography includes "Granados Songs Integral", "Carlos Álvarez Live in La Monnaie", "Canciones en la Alhambra", "Ametsetan", "Carneriana", "La Seduzione", “Los cisnes en Palacio”, (Ibs), integral of songs by Antón García Abril (Bolamar Music) and "Ensueños" (AIM Records). "Pedrell songs" is his latest release. Honorary Patron of the Victoria de los Ángeles Foundation, in 2010 he received the Ópera Actual award "for his dedication to opera and the growing prestige he is achieving in this field".
