Born in 1987, singer Péter Szondi graduated from Zoltán Kodály High School in Kecskemét before earning bachelor's degrees in mathematics and voice at the University of Szeged, where he is currently enrolled as a graduate student. He has been a member of the National Theatre of Szeged's chorus since 2006, and has also appeared there in the lead roles in the fairy-tale operas Secret Stars and Prince Árgyélus as well as in numerous minor opera and operetta roles, including the Dancing Teacher (Lieutenant Mary), the Lieutenant (Prince Bob), Raoul de Saint Brioche (The Merry Widow), Young Priest/First Guard (Die Zauberflöte), Winchester (The Count of Luxembourg) and the Messenger (Il trovatore).
