Adam Tulassay studied directing musical theatre at the Academy of Music Hanns Eisler and gained his first professional experience working on the productions of the Berlin State Opera House and the Deutsche Oper Berlin. He made his directorial debut at the Hungarian State Opera with a new production of Edgar by Giacomo Puccini. He finished his master’s degree in the United Kingdom graduating from the Screen Academy Scotland as a film director. He was awarded the scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
In 2024 he returns to the Hungarian State Opera directing a staged version of Requiem by Guiseppe Verdi.
