Opera House - Main stage
Standing room tickets can be purchased two hours before the evening performance and one hour before the morning performance.
The price of the performances may vary depending on supply and demand.

Please note that we are only responsible for tickets purchased at our ticket offices, on our website, or through opera.jegy.hu.
Ticket prices are indicated in HUF, no Euro or other currencies are accepted in our ticket-offices.
The OPERA accepts the following vouchers at the ticket offices for the Opera's programmes:
- Rewin vouchers
- OTP SZÉP card
- MBH SZÉP card
- K&H SZÉP card
It is also possible to purchase gift vouchers at our box offices in denominations of 1000, 2000, 5000 and 10000 forints that can be exchanged for tickets for productions organised by the Opera. CLICK HERE for online purchase.
Online purchases can only be made by credit card!

All unused tickets can be safely sold on the Ticketswap website, which is officially allows you to resell some of your tickets in complete confidence and security.

As of 1 September 2024, the OPERA offers the following concessions for its own events taking place at the Opera House:
Students: 50% off – Only available Level 3 centre seats. The HSO accepts all types of student ID cards.
Family concessions: when purchasing two full price tickets for adults, children under 18 are offered a 50% discount. – Only available stall seats and boxes.
These concession tickets can only be purchased at our ticket offices or can be requested via ticket@opera.hu. The validity of the concession may be checked upon entry. The above offers cannot be combined, and do not apply for The Nutcracker, the main rehearsals and the Guided tours.
